- Hi I'm trying to teach myself C++. I already know C and I know there
- are about a dozen books down at the store with names like "C to C++ in
- 3 weeks" or "C to C++ in 21 days" or "C to C++ in no time at all" and
- so on.. But of course I'd rather learn without having to buy a book.
- I check the library and they have next to nothing. Actually, they have
- absolutely nothing. I know that there are online tutorials (such as the
- one on simtel with screwy source examples), but could anybody
- reccomend one over the other? I did a search for them on the web and
- came up with a lot of books and advertisements and stuff, and a
- tutorial or two on windows programming.. something i don't really want
- to get into right now.
-
- What I'm really looking for is just a tutorial on programming in dos
- or linux.. basically just learning the language, not how to work with
- the specific OS.
-
- Thanks.
